How to get to Klagenfurt?

Klagenfurt is located in the center of Europe and therefore quite easy to reach by car, by plane and ba train. Klagenfurt is about 390km south to Munich, approximately 320km south- west to Vienna and approximately 420km north-east to Milano.

Klagenfurt has ist own airport that is accessible from all major airports in Europe. There are direct connections from Vienna, Frankfurt and London Stansted. From the rest of the world there are flights to Klagenfurt via Vienna. All flight operators that fly to Klagenfurt offer car rentals, too.

If you plan to get to Klagenfurt from Vienna airport with public transport, please consider 30 minutes for trains from Vienna airport to Vienna South Train Station, and approximately 4 hours from Vienna South Train Station to Klagenfurt Main Station.

Arrival by train
