To make it easier for you to report from the Kärnten IRONMAN Austria, please read through the following information and fill in the online application for accreditation.The whole race section will be closed for road traffic on race day. Journalists and photographers can get as close to the athletes as spectators can without any access passes, which means even without accreditation you will have the possibility to closely take part in the events, take impressive pictures of the athletes and report directly from the Kärnten IRONMAN Austria.

We can distribute accreditation to a limited amount of journalists/photographers only. In the interest of the athletes we therefore ask you to apply for accreditation for the sections:

- transition area
- finishline

only in case you really need it.

Only media representatives who applied online in advance will be accredited on presentation of a valid press ID. Please come to see us and pick up your accreditation together with press material by 29th of June 2013 until 5.00 pm in the Media Center.

MEDIA CENTER of the Kärnten IRONMAN Austria
The Media Center will be open daily from Thursday – from 09:00 through 6.00 pm. The Media Center is located next to the FINISHLINE. There you will meet our Media Team staff who will be pleased to answer all your queries concerning the great event competently.

EQUIPMENT
In the Media Center we can offer you wireless LAN, printer and copy maschine. We ask you to bring your own notebooks. In case you have special needs, please let us know at the end of the application form.

PRESS CONFERENCES
As in the preceding years, there will be a press conference where the top favourites will be introduced as well as a post-race press conference with the winners.

Favourites: Friday, 28th June 2013, 10.30 am: Sunset Bar

Winners: Monday, 1st July 2013, 10.00 am: Sunset Bar

MEDIA RIGHTS
- Television: TRIANGLE show & sport promotion gmbh possesses the TV rights for the Kärnten IRONMAN Austria. TRIANGLE will distribute the TV images nationally and internationally. The Austrian Television (ORF) has the privilege of the first airing of the tv-show.

- Internet: TRIANGLE show & sports promotion gmbh possesses the rights to publish audio and video material on the internet. We have an exclusive contract with our internet host, thus any other reporting on our event on the internet is limited to text and photographs.

Photographers: Photographers will be given accreditation for the use of photographs only in newspapers, magazines, books and the internet. Photographs must not be sold to athletes – our IRONMAN Photo Service has the exclusive rights to sell photographs to athletes.
